Air Tank Drain Valve


The electronically controlled drainage valve, as an actuating component in the drainage system, is installed at the drainage outlet of the air storage cylinder. Under normal circumstances, it keeps the valve port sealed to prevent air leakage.

When a 24V DC control signal is received, the electromagnetic-driven valve core moves upward to open the drainage channel, and the accumulated water is quickly discharged by relying on the internal air pressure of the air storage cylinder.


The temperature sensor continuously collects the ambient temperature and transmits it to the intelligent drainage controller.

The controller then schedules the drainage valve based on the preset temperature threshold:

When the temperature is above the threshold, it automatically drains water according to the pre-set power-on and power-off logic and periodic intervals.

When the temperature is below the threshold, it suspends the automatic drainage and activates the heating function.


Press the forced drainage switch, and the controller will immediately output a signal to drive the drainage valve to drain water. Release the switch to stop the process.

While the vehicle is in motion, the controller temporarily suspends all actions of the drainage valve to ensure the braking air pressure.

When there is a short circuit or open circuit fault in the drainage valve, the controller will precisely indicate the corresponding faulty valve position through the flashing code light.
